Killing the folder.exe trojan

So i found this very bad trojan hitting my PC when i plugged in a USB pen drive, i saw a cute folder name "folder" i didnt know its usefulness or harm , i just clicked it. but then i found out strange pattern, i found another same name folder inside my data folder. after investigating further I found there was a replicat of each and every folder. with enabling details and extensions for the files and folder i found the this was an .exe , i formated my USB pen drive hopeing to be not infected my PC.
but my next days login was disaster i found that regsvr.exe was eating up most of my system resource. so i downloaded AVG antivirus and after scanning my PC for hours togather i was able to clean regsvr.exe process error. but neverthless the regsvr.exe boot error was seen through out subsequent logins.
I made my mind to get rid of this problem once for all. I googled for this error for hours togather and found one solution but that dirty website didnt say it was paid and after going through the installation i found it to be asking for cash, i got pissed off and uninstalled it at once.
then a furthur googling led me to this amazing solution , where he had mentioned it for free. that what i call knowledge sharing. here it is , the simplest straight forward solution for this trojan.
